This blog was started in 2016. It was initially inspired by my young son.
Everyday my son asked those what, where, why, when questions that as adults we often stop asking.
We can grow to accept much of what we see and what we are told without question. The hustle and bustle of daily life takes over and can stop us from taking time to stop, look, listen, learn.
I signed up to Facebook in 2013 to stay connected with a school friend. Little did I know that in doing so it would also reconnect me with my interest in volunteering, community work and sharing knowledge and experiences.
It is now 2026. So much has changed.
My young son is now on the verge of turning 18. No longer a child.
One thing has never changed.
We both continue to ask questions and seek out answers.
It is so important to learn something new every day.
It is how we stay current.
